In this Pan pastel drawing, I worked on capturing the raw emotion and intensity that can emerge from the shadows. Set against a black board, the figure's face is partially obscured by deep darkness, with only the most essential features illuminated. This play of light and shadow enhances the powerful gaze of the subject, drawing the viewer into a moment of deep introspection.
Using soft pastel tones, I aimed to create a piece that feels almost ethereal, with the contrast between the darkness and the soft glow of the face suggesting a quiet yet intense emotional journey. This work reflects the idea that even in our darkest moments, there is light that reveals our inner strength.
